The Miami Institute of Joint Reconstruction is the largest, private practice Orthopaedic Group in Miami-Dade County. We are a dynamic group, composed of 5 physicians, offering state-of-the-art orthopaedic surgery. We treat every type of Orthopaedic affliction and offer treatments for all of your musculoskeletal needs, ranging from joint reconstruction to cutting-edge arthroscopic surgery to ligament and cartilage repair of every joint. We treat patients of all ages and accept most insurances and workman’s compensation.

We provide comprehensive, high quality care to patients from all over South Florida. In addition, our patient-base also includes patients from South and Central America because of this we have developed strong relationships to physicians over seas and have developed a patient referral base there. In fact, at one time or another, we have visiting international orthopaedic surgeons join our surgeons to observe the latest surgical techniques being performed. All of our surgeons are fluent in Spanish and English and have had outstanding training (3 have had their training at reputable Ivy League Schools).

Our surgeons lecture nationally, as well as internationally, on subjects pertaining to their specialties. Research is always being done at the Miami Institute of Joint Reconstruction—because of this, it keeps us at the forefront of surgical techniques. We only practice “Evidence-based medicine”. Innovative techniques are utilized by our surgeons, only after they have been proven in the scientific literature.

Our offices include locations in Kendall and Coral Gables. We operate out of the Baptist Hospital, Cedars Medical Center, South Miami Hospital and perform out-patient procedures in Ambulatory Surgical Centers in Kendall and Coral Gables.
